A few things to know.

Before you make yourself at home.

What exactly is CATui?

CATui is an open-source emulation frontend built with Godot and Libretro. It brings your game library, emulation, customization, and social features together in one interface. The project is under active development.

Is CATui free?

Yes. CATui is free and open source under the GNU GPL v3.0 license. You can explore the code and follow development on GitHub.

Does it come with games?

No games, ROMs, BIOS files, or encryption keys are included. Bring your own legally obtained games and any files required by the corresponding Libretro core.

Where can I download it?

CATui is still in development. The downloads page links to the project's release history and source code. Availability depends on the builds published by the project.

Where are the docs?

The documentation is being reorganized and is temporarily disabled. For now, the repository README is the starting point for building and exploring CATui.
