What exactly is CATui?

CATui is an open source emulation project built with Godot and Libretro. It brings your game library, emulation, customization, and social features together in one interface. It runs only cores on its compatibility list. Some cores are custom builds with behavior designed specifically for CATui. Check the compatibility list and updates in #core-status on our official Discord.

Is CATui free?

Yes. CATui is free to use. It is currently in testing, and updates will be announced through our official Discord.

Does it come with games?

No games, ROMs, BIOS files, or encryption keys are included. Bring your own legally obtained games and any files required by the corresponding Libretro core.

Where can I download it?

CATui is currently in testing. Public builds will appear on the Downloads page when they are ready. Follow our official Discord for release updates.

Where are the docs?

Documentation will be released gradually as CATui develops. The project is currently in testing. Guides and references will become available as they are ready, with updates shared on our official Discord.
